This weekend there is the so called "Uitmarkt" in Amsterdam. The "Uitmarkt" is a cultural happening where a lot of Dutch will go to. The "Uitmarkt" is the official opening of the cultural season.
The "Uitmarkt" is a cultural festival where you can admire Hiphop, ballet, pop music, theater and lots more. There are stages on different spots in Amsterdam. The biggest stage is near the Rijksmuseum. There is also a literary cafe in the passage of the museum. (probably in Dutch, not so interesting for foreign tourist).
Because of the bad weather, a lot of people do not go to the "Uitmarkt" this means that you can have a better spot yourself.
